I am currently completing my Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education through USQ and use my home laptop everyday really. The program is based on coursework and practical components and I also tutor in marketing at UQ. I have only used the laptop stand for a few months but have found it to be excellent and exactly what I required. It is neat and compact and can adjust to different heights which is very handy indeed. The instructions were easy to follow and it looks like the stand has many different uses. Colour is good and it looks to be very hard-wearing and long-lasting.  Officeworks sell a few different types of laptop stands priced anywhere from $30 to $90 I believe. I've been using PORTAnoteBOOK for over a year now, and I think it is fantastic.  I use it in airport lounges, hotels in my bed and lounge room.  I don't use my laptop any other way, now.  Shoulder, neck and eye strain has reduced as elevation of the screen and keyboard maximises viewing and typing comfort. It really is a portable 'ergonomic' workstation as I can use it anywhere and it fits inside my laptop carry bag - still attached to my laptop.  When I do a presentation viewing the Powerpoint slide show is more accessable - just by raising the screen.  I highly recommend the PORTAnoteBOOK to users of laptops or even just for reading. It is very reasonably priced and more versatile than anything else I've seen.

I would like to say that the Porta-Book is really amazing.  I used to suffer from really bad back and neck ache when sitting at my laptop.  I had actually been having regular chiropractic treatments prior to using the Porta-Book as I could not sit for long periods of time at my computer.  Since using the Porta Book with my laptop I have stopped going to the Chiropractor and have not had any further problems with my neck or back. I would recommend the Porta Book not only to people suffering from neck and back ache but to anyone who wishes to have extra comfort without strain while using their laptops.

Hi Karin, Thank you for introducing me to better posture and easier typing. Not being a touch typist it used to be awkward when the laptop was flat. Now at least the letters are more easily seen. however it is being able to sit correctly that is really great.Margaret Wilmink Master Executive Neways
